Monickx atlas - curated set of 6 prints on aluminium

The Moninckx Atlas is a painted herbarium created in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The atlas is a visual and scientific masterpiece that provides a window into the plant collections housed in the Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam, one of Europe’s oldest botanical gardens with plants brought to the Netherlands from countries overseas by plant hunters of the Dutch East India Company (VOC).
