For about 11 years I found myself delving into the digital archives of musea and nature organizations. Each discovery felt like uncovering a hidden gem. Time and time again, I was amazed by the breathtaking work of lesser-known botanical artists. Their intricate details and vibrant colors of plants captivated me, not as a biologist, but as an artist.

Among my greatest inspirations are the stunning creations of Maria Sibylla Merian and Berthe Hoola van Nooten.
