The Monickx atlas - 1682

The Monickx atlas is seen as the painted herbarium of the Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam. The vast majority of watercolor drawings are by Jan and Maria Moninckx, therefor the collection owes its name to them. Holding institution: University of Amsterdam / Allard Pierson Museum.
