For the past two decades, I have been captivated by the endeavors of plant hunters and the artistic expressions of those who, from ancient times to our contemporary era, have unveiled the rich biodiversity of botanics, bringing forth the visibility of countless plant varieties.

Through the ages, the depiction of plants has orchestrated a transformative shift in humanity's relationship with nature. Herbaria and botanical drawings have served as windows, introducing the public to an array of plants from distant lands, fostering a deeper respect for the natural world.

In our present age, influenced in part by the VOC, the prevailing attitude has become predominantly economic, yielding adverse effects on the environment. However, contemporary awareness of our anthropogenic impact on the world has grown. 

Embarking on a journey through botanical heritage, I aspire to contribute to the evolution from an economically centered mindset to one where humanity operates in synergy with nature.
